Description
A 1972 US Mint uncirculated coin set presented in its original government packaging. The set includes two clear plastic film packs with red and blue borders and a cream-colored Department of the Treasury mailing envelope from the US Assay Office in New York. The collection contains coins from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints. Denominations include the Kennedy half dollar, Washington quarter, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent. The red-trimmed pack contains coins with the D mint mark for Denver, while the blue-trimmed pack contains coins with no mint mark for Philadelphia and a cent with the S mint mark for San Francisco. A white plastic Bureau of the Mint token is included. The coins are composed of copper-nickel clad and bronze.
Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition with original mint luster and sharp strikes. No significant toning or spotting is visible through the packaging. The plastic film packs remain sealed. The mailing envelope shows minor edge wear and light discoloration consistent with age.
