Description
This lot consists of four US Washington quarters struck in 90% silver. The group includes one 1951 specimen, two 1962 specimens, and one 1964 specimen. All coins feature the Washington obverse and the eagle reverse. These are Philadelphia mint strikes, identified by the lack of mint marks on the reverse. Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition, ranging from fine to very fine. All specimens show visible wear to the high points of the design, including the hair details and eagle feathers. Surface nicks and contact marks are present throughout the group. The 1951 and one 1962 specimen display heavy dark toning and tarnish on the obverse.
