Description
This mixed media decorative plaque is a Sid Dickens Memory Block, identified as T-32 Heritage from the Signature Collection. The piece is constructed on a rectangular cast plaster support. The front face depicts a black calligraphic script character on an off-white background, featuring intentional heavy crazing and a cracked surface texture meant to simulate aged tile. The perimeter is finished with a textured, distressed metallic gold glaze. The black-painted reverse contains a circular hanging indentation. Identifying marks on the verso include the handwritten notation T 32, an oval white stamp reading MEMORY BLOCKS with the artist’s crown and cross logo and MADE BY HAND IN CANADA, and a rectangular printed label reading SID DICKENS VANCOUVER CANADA.

The item is in its original intended condition. The surface cracking, crazing, and distressed edges are characteristic stylistic elements of the artist\'s technique and do not represent post-production damage. No significant chips or repairs are visible beyond the intentional artistic distressing.
