Description
This lot features two handwoven wooden baskets produced by Longaberger of Dresden, Ohio, accompanied by an original informational booklet. The first item is a 1995 Edition Dresden Basket, as identified by the brass-tone plate on the front rim. This basket includes a padded lid featuring fabric with an American flag and the text LAND OF LIBERTY, a coordinating fabric handle wrap, and a wooden hangtag in the shape of the state of Ohio. The second item is an open-top basket with a single swinging handle, a red-dyed horizontal weave accent, a ruffled fabric liner with a holly and berry pattern, and a clear plastic interior protector. Both baskets feature heat-stamped markings on the underside reading LONGABERGER BASKETS HANDWOVEN DRESDEN, OHIO USA. Each piece bears handwritten artisan signatures, and one base is marked with the year 1994.

Dresden basket height: approximately 6 inches.
Condition report:
