Description
This lot features an assortment of handcrafted folk art figurines, primarily focusing on winter and Christmas themes. The collection includes a variety of materials including hand-carved and painted wood, glazed stoneware, and natural elements. Notable signed pieces include a tall rustic log snowman with a red knit-pattern hat and straw arm, marked on the underside HANDCARVED # 96 / 1997 Charlene Cooper. A flying snowman figure holding an evergreen tree is mounted on a wooden pedestal marked J. Petersen 1996. Another wooden snowman with blue accessories is mounted on a base stamped HANDCRAFTED BY JOE KOVALOVICH, with the figurine itself featuring an incised JK 05 on the bottom. A small carved snowman head ornament is marked Arlen Zomer on the underside.
The collection also contains three distinct Father Christmas figures: a large traditional hand-carved wooden Santa in a red coat, a flat-back painted wooden figure with a floral wreath crown, and a glazed blue and gray stoneware or ceramic figure with tree and star motifs. Additional items include a tall slender figure in a yellow coat and black top hat, a snowman with a pinecone body on a white wooden base, and a hummingbird figure mounted on a natural wood segment with artificial red floral accents and green leaves.

Condition report:
The items are in good vintage condition with minor surface wear and small paint losses consistent with age and display. The Joe Kovalovich snowman base has a small pre-drilled hole for mounting. No significant chips, cracks, or structural repairs are visible.
