Description
This collection of six American Country style side chairs consists of five matching ladder-back chairs and one coordinating spindle-back chair. Each piece is constructed from wood with a warm reddish-brown finish. The five ladder-back chairs are designed with three curved horizontal slats, turned uprights with small finials, and front legs featuring decorative ring turnings. Multiple sets of ring-turned stretchers provide structural stability. The single spindle-back chair features a decorative pressed top rail with geometric and floral motifs supported by a row of turned spindles. All six chairs are fitted with hand-woven natural cane seats in a classic octagonal pattern. The construction features turned components and joinery typical of the late 19th to early 20th century.

Condition report:
The set is in good vintage condition. The woven cane seats are well-preserved, remaining taut and intact on all six chairs. The wooden frames exhibit minor surface wear, including light scuffs, small dings, and localized finish wear consistent with age and domestic use.
