Description
This limited edition print by artist Libby Kier depicts the historic White Swan Tavern in Chestertown, Maryland. The composition, created in a watercolor style with a predominantly blue and green color palette, shows the exterior of the tavern, a neighboring storefront, and pedestrians under stylized trees. The print is hand-signed Libby Kier in pencil in the lower right margin and hand-numbered 115/250 in pencil in the lower left margin. It is inscribed in the center lower margin with the title: White Swan Tavern – 1733 Chestertown, Maryland. The artist’s name, LIBBY KIER, is also printed within the lower right quadrant of the image itself. The artwork is presented in a cream-colored mat and a mahogany-toned wood frame behind glass.
