Description
This mid-century highboy chest of drawers is designed in the Streamline Modern style Champagne by Heywood Wakefield. The piece is constructed from birch with a honey-toned finish and features a characteristic waterfall top edge with rounded vertical corners. The chest contains four drawers, each with a distinctive tiered or stepped front design featuring a recessed central panel flanked by curved outer sections. The drawers are fitted with original rectangular block-style wooden pulls. The piece rests on a recessed plinth base with a subtle arched apron at the front.
