Condition report:
The nickel plating on the handle shows pitting, surface oxidation, and minor scuffing consistent with age and professional use. The black finish on the head shows light wear and some loss around the edges. The primary viewing lens and the lenses in the rotating disc appear intact, though internal dust is present. The lens selection disc rotates freely and the sliding aperture control appears functional. The battery compartment is clean but has not been tested for electrical continuity or illumination. The original fitted case shows significant shelf wear with heavy abrasion and loss to the corners and edges of the black exterior covering. The internal purple velvet remains vibrant with impressions from the instrument. Metal latches and hinges are present and functional.
