Description
This lot includes three vintage ladies designer belts dating from the 1980s. The collection features a variety of materials including embossed leather and genuine snakeskin, generally sized for a smaller 70cm waist.The first belt is crafted from black leather with an embossed crocodile pattern. It is fitted with a large, sculpted gold-tone metal buckle in the form of a walking elephant. The reverse of the buckle bears the cast mark DRO followed by a copyright symbol.The second belt is a wide waist belt featuring a diagonal patchwork design made from genuine snakeskin in shades of burgundy, forest green, and dark brown. The black interior is stamped in gold with GENUINE SNAKESKIN and the number 8328.The third belt is a slim black snakeskin accessory with a visible scale texture and a gold-tone metal pin buckle. The tan leather interior is stamped with 7151 S and TST L.Size: 70cm.
Condition report:
The belts are in good vintage condition overall. The elephant belt shows light wear to the leather strap and minor surface scratches on the gold-tone buckle. The patchwork belt displays minor lifting of the snakeskin scales consistent with age. The slim black belt is in fair to good condition with visible wear and minor delamination along the edges of the strap.
