Description
This lot comprises five vintage ladies designer belts dating to approximately the 1980s. The collection includes a variety of styles, materials, and makers. One Norma Kamali belt is constructed of a black fabric, possibly felt or wool, featuring a double brass-tone D-ring buckle and a woven label with a stylized circular logo. A wide Liz Claiborne belt is made of red leather with a decorative twisted knot design at the center; its tan interior is stamped Liz Claiborne Accessories, Genuine Leather, Small number 2307, and Made in Korea. A second Liz Claiborne belt is a navy blue braided fabric style with brown leather terminals embossed with 28332 and L/L, and a gold-tone square buckle; a fabric tag indicates it was made in Turkey. Two belts from The Limited are included, one in red and one in cream braided fabric. These elasticated woven belts feature brown leather terminals marked The Limited, Genuine Italian Leather, and Made in USA, with silver-tone buckles stamped Taiwan on the reverse.Size: Generally waist size 70 cm, with some adjustable styles.
Condition report:
The belts are in good vintage condition showing minor signs of age and wear consistent with light use. The cream braided belt exhibits light discoloration on the fabric. All leather components remain supple and the hardware is functional.
