Description
A collection of six US $1 silver certificates comprising two Series 1935 notes and four Series 1957 notes. The group includes Series 1935 A, 1935 E, 1957, and 1957 B. Each note features the characteristic blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers. The obverse contains a central portrait vignette of George Washington printed in black ink, while the reverse features the Great Seal of the United States in green ink. Signatures present include Julian/Morgenthau, Priest/Humphrey, Priest/Anderson, and Smith/Dillon. Serial numbers are U 70370888 A, X 00626092 A, Q 70401637 H, W 47183067 A, C 81349358 A, and Y 94307295 B. No star notes or fancy serial numbers are present in this lot.
Condition report:
The notes exhibit moderate to heavy circulation, ranging from Good (G) to Fine (F) condition. Visible wear includes multiple vertical and horizontal folds, corner rounding, edge nicks, and surface soiling. A significant tear is located on the upper left corner of the Series 1957 note with serial number ending in 3067 A. Several notes show noticeable staining along the bottom edges. Paper texture ranges from soft and circulated to moderately crisp.
