Description
A collection of 22 US silver dimes comprising Barber, Mercury, and Roosevelt types. The coins are struck in 90% silver with reeded edges. The lot includes one Barber dime dated 1913. Mercury dimes are present with dates including 1918, 1928, 1941, 1943, 1944, and 1945. Roosevelt dimes feature dates of 1947, 1951, 1956, and 1964. Obverse designs feature Liberty and Franklin D. Roosevelt profiles with inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. Reverse designs include the Barber wreath type, the Mercury fasces with olive branch type, and the Roosevelt torch between olive and oak branches type. Common reverse legends include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DIME, and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. A Denver mint mark is visible on one reverse.
Condition report:
The coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting wear ranging from heavy on the older issues to moderate on the later pieces. Surfaces show natural toning, contact marks, and varying degrees of remaining luster. No third-party grading is present.
