Description
This diagnostic medical set is manufactured by Keeler. The set features a white cylindrical battery handle constructed from plastic and metal, equipped with a black rheostat dial for light intensity control. The set includes one interchangeable otoscope head and four black reusable ear specula of graduated sizes. Also included is a small plastic bag containing three metal crocodile-style clips attached to short ball-chain lanyards. The components are housed in an original dark gray textured plastic hardshell case with silver-tone metal latches and a cream-colored molded interior insert. The exterior of the case bears a circular badge with the word Keeler in white letters on a blue ground. Inside the lid is a yellow and red adhesive label with a warning regarding bulb life and rheostat operation. Faint markings are present on the base of the black specula.
Condition report:
The set is in good, used condition. Plastic and metal components show minimal wear. The case latches are functional. The rheostat dial on the handle rotates freely. The optical lens in the otoscope head is clear. Full mechanical and electrical functionality, including illumination, has not been tested. Batteries are not included.
