Description
This collection consists of Homer Laughlin China Company earthenware bowls in the Fiesta pattern, featuring the characteristic concentric ring design. The group includes one large bowl in a solid yellow glaze and several fruit or dessert bowls in a variety of vibrant solid glazes, including red, yellow, and blue. Each piece is constructed of glazed earthenware with a smooth, glossy finish.
The base of the large yellow bowl features an impressed mark with the word fiesta in script above two concentric semi-circular lines, with the letters HLC to the left and USA to the right. The smaller bowls bear a circular backstamp that reads HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA CO. around the perimeter. The center of the stamp contains the Fiesta script logo with a registered trademark symbol, followed by U.S.A. and a three-letter production code (ZZA or ZZB). The words LEAD FREE are stamped at the bottom of the mark, indicating contemporary production.
Large bowl: 5.5 inches in diameter.
Condition report:
This collection is in excellent condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The glazes remain bright and consistent across all pieces. Very minor shelf wear is present on the unglazed foot rings, consistent with light handling.
