Lot 101:
Description
This lot features two vintage citrus reamers. The first is a novelty ceramic juicer in the form of a pig, finished in a glossy pale pink glaze. The mold-formed piece includes a figural pig head at the rear, a central fluted reaming cone, and a pointed pour spout at the front. The second item is a transparent green pressed glass citrus reamer characteristic of the Depression era. This piece features a ribbed or fluted bowl and a tall fluted central cone, an integral loop handle, and a molded pour spout. The coloration is consistent with uranium glass from the 1930s. No maker marks, patent numbers, or backstamps are visible on either item.
Ceramic pig juicer: 4.75 inches in length x 4.25 inches in width
Green glass juicer: 6 inches in width (including handle) x 4.5 inches bowl diameter.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good vintage condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or crazing on the ceramic pig reamer. The green glass reamer is free of significant chips or cracks on the rim, central cone, or handle. Both pieces show minor shelf wear on the underside of the bases consistent with age and use.
