This is a cast iron pot-belly stove manufactured by The Atlanta Stove Works. The item features a three-tiered cast iron construction consisting of a square four-legged base, a bulbous central combustion chamber, and a flat top with a single removable circular burner plate. The middle section includes a rotating draft control wheel, while the base features a hinged ash door with four sliding vents. The base is embossed with the manufacturer mark THE ATLANTA STOVE WORKS. The central section is marked NO 40, and the lower door is marked NO 4.
