Description
This is a single antique Victorian high-back rocking chair, commonly identified as a Lincoln style rocker, dating to approximately 1880 to 1900. The chair is constructed from stained hardwood with a walnut-toned finish and features hand-woven cane panels in the seat and the arched backrest. The frame is designed with an ergonomic curve and includes distinctive openwork scrolled arms. The undercarriage consists of turned front legs and turned stretchers mounted on arched wooden rockers. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the object.
