Description
A small cupboard or nightstand constructed of solid wood, likely pine, designed in an Early American or country primitive style. The piece features a red-painted carcass contrasted by a natural-finish wood top, drawer front, and recessed door panel. The configuration consists of a single top drawer above a one-door cupboard. The drawer and door are both fitted with turned wooden knobs. The cupboard door is mounted with two external brass-tone butterfly hinges. The unit is built on a bracket base featuring a decorative scalloped front apron. No maker marks or labels are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces.
