Description

This is a collection of three American vitrified stoneware serving pieces manufactured by Longaberger Pottery in the Woven Traditions pattern. The set consists of a round covered casserole and a rectangular baking dish in the Paprika burgundy-red glaze, alongside a rimmed serving bowl in the Cornflower blue glaze. Each piece is decorated with the signature embossed basket-weave motif that characterizes this pattern. The round casserole features two integrated side handles and a matching domed lid with a central round knob. The rectangular baking dish is designed with small, flared handles on the shorter ends which incorporate the embossed weave pattern. The large round bowl features a wide rim with the same embossed decorative border.

The underside of each piece features a circular impressed manufacturer mark. On the round casserole and the blue bowl, the outer ring of the stamp reads MICROWAVE DISHWASHER OVEN SAFE FREEZER and the inner ring reads LONGABERGER POTTERY surrounding a stylized basket logo and the text Made in the U.S.A. The rectangular dish features a similar mark with the word VITRIFIED included at the base of the inner circle.

Round Casserole: Approximately 10 inches wide across handles and 6 inches high to the top of the lid knob.
Rectangular Dish: Approximately 11 inches long including handles.
Blue Bowl: Approximately 11 inches in diameter.

Condition report:

The items are in good used condition with no visible chips, cracks, or structural repairs. The vitrified glazes retain a high gloss with only minor signs of surface wear consistent with light domestic use.
