Description
This vintage mid-century modern table clock radio was manufactured by the Zenith Radio Corp. of Chicago, Illinois. The unit, designated as Model T315 with Chassis 5M06, features a rectangular cream-colored molded plastic housing. The front is divided into two sections. The right side contains the speaker, which is covered by an orange woven fabric grill featuring a small green enameled Zenith crown emblem. Below the grill, the word ZENITH is rendered in raised plastic lettering. The radio tuning interface consists of a large silver-tone dial with a white bezel, marked for AM frequencies 5.5 through 16, with a smaller volume and power knob situated below.
The left side of the unit houses a square clock with a clear plastic cover and a silver-tone sunburst dial. The clock face features stylized black Arabic numerals for hours 1 through 11 (excluding 6 and 12). It is equipped with silver-tone hour and minute hands, a bright orange second hand, and a small yellow alarm indicator hand. Functional switches along the top of the clock face are labeled ALARM, OFF, ON, and AUTO. A sleep timer dial is located at the bottom of the clock face. The rear of the unit is enclosed by a fiberboard panel that includes a diagram for five Zenith vacuum tubes: 12BA6, 12BE6, 12AV6, 50C5, and 35W4. The panel also features a pull-out knob for setting the time and alarm. Electrical specifications are listed as 117V AC, 35 watts, and .3 amps. A brown two-prong power cord is attached.

Condition report:
The plastic housing shows age-appropriate wear, including surface marks and minor discoloration. The rear fiberboard panel displays significant staining and water marks. The green enameled crown emblem shows some oxidation. The internal mechanical and electronic components are untested; the unit is being sold for parts, restoration, or decorative use only.
