Description
This set of twelve model railroad track sections is produced by Lehmann-Gross-Bahn (LGB), a division of Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk. The sections are curved tracks identified as R1 with a 30-degree arc and a 600mm radius. Each section features solid brass rails mounted on dark brown plastic ties. Designed for G scale operation, these tracks are branded as The Big Train and are engineered for durability in both indoor and outdoor environments. The set includes the original red cardboard box, which displays the Lehmann and LGB logos alongside white line-art diagrams of steam locomotives and freight cars. The green end label identifies the product as model 1100 and carries a copyright date of 1988. The packaging states that the item was manufactured in West Germany. A vintage True Value price sticker is affixed to the exterior label.
Condition report:
The tracks appear to be in excellent condition, showing no signs of operation or oxidation on the brass rails. The plastic ties are free of cracks or breaks. The original box is in good condition but shows moderate signs of shelf wear, including some crushing, edge rubbing, and creasing at the corners.
