Description
A vintage Lionel Large Scale (G-Scale) operating hand car, model number 8-87203, manufactured by Lionel Trains, Inc. in 1990. This Christmas-themed railroad accessory features Santa Claus and a Snowman figure positioned to operate the handcar pump. The motorized unit is constructed with a plastic body and includes metal wheels and internal DC motor components for forward and reverse remote operation on G-scale track. The car features operating knuckle couplers at both ends. Accessories include four removable tools, a green barrel labeled Hot Cocoa, and a red crate labeled Candy. The car is marked with the number 7203 and the date stamp BLT 1-90 LIONEL. The item is housed in its original brown retail window box with a protective styrofoam insert.

Condition report:
The hand car and figures appear to be in excellent, near-mint, and possibly unused condition. The Santa and Snowman figures remain in their designated packaging recesses. The original retail box shows moderate signs of shelf wear, including creasing at the corners, small tears to the back panel, and adhesive residue from tape. The clear plastic windows are intact but show light surface scuffing. The original True Value price tag is present on the front panel. The electrical functionality of the motor and remote operation has not been tested.
