Description
This screenprint by artist Eve Bender is titled Hurricane Georges and depicts a whimsical tropical scene. The composition features five brightly colored, tilted houses and a leaning palm tree on a small island, set against a vibrant blue sky filled with white wind swirls and several human-faced fish flying through the air. The work is plate-signed and dated Eve Bender – 1998 at the lower left corner of the image. The title Hurricane Georges and the location Key West are inscribed in pencil in the lower margins. The piece is housed in a cream mat under glass within a light-green painted wooden frame. A studio label for Eve Bender Studio / Guild Hall Gallery in Key West, FL is attached to the reverse.

Condition report:
The print and matting appear to be in good condition with no visible toning or fading behind the glass. The distressed frame shows minor surface wear and small paint losses consistent with age and style. The cardboard backing board shows two prominent yellow-brown spots, likely foxing or adhesive staining.
