Description
This framed limited edition vintage print, titled Fish Scales, is by American artist Bruce S. Garrabrandt and is based on an original colored pencil drawing. The whimsical scene features various tropical fish swimming among aquatic plants, accompanied by floating musical notes as a visual pun on the title. The print is hand-signed by the artist in pencil in the lower-right margin and numbered 100/500 in the lower-left margin. Within the image, there is a copyright mark reading 2002 B. Garrabrandt. The work is professionally double-matted with a dark green outer mat and a thin brown inner mat, housed under glass in a light wood frame. The verso includes a handwritten inscription with the title, copyright, and artist’s signature, as well as a printed promotional label from the artist’s studio website showing other examples of his colored pencil art.
Outer frame: 14 1/8 inches high x 15 1/4 inches wide.
Condition report:
The print and frame are in excellent condition. The artwork shows no visible signs of foxing, toning, or fading. The matting is clean, and the frame is well-preserved with only minor signs of handling.
