Description
A pair of mid-century modern style table lamps featuring baluster-form turned wood bodies with a honey-toned finish and black painted decorative bands. Each lamp stands on a tiered circular base and is fitted with a tapered square bell-style shade in cream fabric with matching self-trim. The lamps are topped with coordinating turned wood ball finials. The internal hardware is metal, and each lamp includes a black electrical cord with a two-prong plug. No maker’s mark, label, or signature is visible on the bases, sockets, or cords.
Standing 26 inches tall to the top of the finials and 14 inches wide at the base of the shades.
Condition report:
The turned wood bases are in good condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. One shade has several small brown spots and visible staining on the fabric (Image 3). The electrical wiring is untried and untested; professional rewiring is recommended for all vintage electronics.
