Description
A Chinese-made tabletop music center housed in a vintage-style wood-veneer cabinet featuring a hinged lid that opens to reveal a three-speed turntable. The front facade features a central control area finished in a champagne-toned metal bearing a cursive Emerson logo preceded by a treble clef symbol. Below the logo is an illuminated analog-style AM/FM tuning dial paired with a two-digit LED display for CD track numbers. The lower portion of the panel contains a front-loading CD tray marked with a printed compact disc digital audio logo. Two control knobs govern mode selection (labeled Phono, CD, Tape, FM, AM) and volume/power. Function buttons include play/pause, stop, open/close, fast backward, fast forward, and repeat/program, situated next to a 3.5mm earphone jack. Built-in speakers are positioned behind decorative plastic lattice grilles on the faceted front side panels. The rear of the unit features several adhesive labels. A black label reads Emerson, MODEL NO.: NR303TT, POWER SOURCE: 120V~ 60Hz, POWER CONSUMPTION: 19 WATTS, EMERSON RADIO CORP., 9 ENTIN ROAD, PARSIPPANY, N.J. 07054, MADE IN CHINA SUFFIX D, and includes a C-UL-US LISTED mark. A white label reads MANUFACTURED: OCT, 2007 and S/N: 71018386 CA. A second white label identifies the unit as a CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT in multiple languages. A black safety label with a lightning bolt symbol reads CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN. An attached AC power cord is present.
Measures approximately 9.5 inches in height.
Condition report:
The unit is in good cosmetic condition with no visible structural cracks. There is accumulated surface dust on the turntable platter and within the decorative lattice crevices as seen in photo 4. A small chip is visible on the bottom right corner of the wood-veneer finish in photo 1. The adhesive labels on the rear show slight lifting and peeling at the corners in photo 6. The electrical and mechanical functionality of the unit has not been tested.
