Description
A hanging swag-style pendant lamp featuring a four-sided pyramidal shade. The shade is constructed of four cream-to-amber marbled slag glass panels set within a dark-patinated metal frame. Each panel is overlaid with decorative metal filigree depicting stylized floral and heart-shaped motifs. The lamp is suspended by a blackened metal chain from a wall-mounted decorative scroll-work bracket. The fixture is configured as a plug-in swag lamp and is shown in a functional, illuminated state. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the shade, fixture, or bracket.
Condition report:
The slag glass panels appear to be in good condition with no visible cracks, chips, or heat damage as seen in the overall and close-up views (photos 1, 3, and 4). The metal filigree and frame exhibit a consistent dark patina throughout. The chain and wall bracket appear structurally sound. The lamp is in working condition, though professional inspection of the wiring for any vintage fixture is recommended.
