Description
A Federal style bedside cabinet constructed of mahogany with light wood inlays. The piece features a rectangular top with a shaped backsplash gallery. Below the top is a single drawer positioned over a single cupboard door, both highlighted with checkered banding and light wood stringing. The cabinet is supported by four square tapered legs featuring vertical stringing and spade feet. Hardware consists of an octagonal brass drawer pull with a rosette motif and an oval brass cupboard backplate with a drop ring handle. The drawer interior is finished with a yellow floral patterned paper liner. The lower cupboard opens to a single, undivided storage area. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible.

Condition report:
The top surface shows clouding and water staining to the finish (photo 2). Scattered nicks and surface scratches are visible across the piece, notably on the legs and along the edges (photo 1). The drawer paper liner appears to be a later replacement (photo 4). Metal glides have been attached to the underside of the feet (photo 3).
