Description
A Hamilton mantel clock features a carriage-style gold-tone metal case with four glass panels and a top swing handle. The circular white dial displays black Roman numerals and hands, with the name HAMILTON printed above the center and QUARTZ below. A large set of color-dot dominoes is housed in a silver-toned ribbed aluminum briefcase with a black interior, including multicolored plastic train markers and printed instructions. A hand-carved trough-style bowl is crafted from light-toned wood showing natural grain and knots. A decorative tabletop globe with black oceans and an antiqued map is mounted on a turned black pedestal base. A white porcelain teacup and matching saucer are decorated with multicolored floral sprays and a gold-tone handle. A porcelain figurine depicts a Boxer dog with a brown and white coat. Two metal floral pin frogs are included: one circular tiered silver-toned frog and one rectangular green-coated frog. Two dark wood blocks feature inset miniature prints of horse racing scenes. A translucent blue glass sculpture with an internal molded design completes the collection.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. The briefcase shows minor exterior scuffs and scratches (photo 1). The wooden bowl exhibits natural surface irregularities and minor wear to the finish (photo 1). The porcelain and glass pieces appear free of chips or cracks. Metal surfaces show minor oxidation and dust. The Hamilton clock movement is untested and requires a battery.
