Lot 22:
Description
An assortment of natural history specimens featuring polished amethyst and agate geode sections and nodules. The group includes larger sections with a mountain-like profile, displaying central cavities lined with purple amethyst crystals and concentric agate banding in gray and blue tones. One specimen is displayed on a dark-finished, three-pronged interlocking wooden tripod stand. The collection also contains a circular geode section with a dark crystalline center and a thick ochre outer rind, also mounted on a matching wooden stand. Several smaller loose specimens are included, consisting of a flat agate slice with a crystalline center, a rounded nodule with fine banding, and a small geode half with light blue interiors. The polished faces exhibit a high-gloss finish, while the natural exteriors remain rough and pitted. No marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the specimens or the stands.
Condition report:
All polished surfaces appear to be in good condition with no visible scratches or chips in the photograph. The natural outer surfaces show typical pitting and irregularities characteristic of raw minerals. The wooden stands appear stable and undamaged.
