Description
A child’s sterling silver cup of simple cylindrical form featuring a slightly flared rim and a flat, C-shaped strap handle. The exterior body is personalized with the name Julia engraved in cursive script. The underside of the base is impressed with a mark depicting a crown positioned over a shield, followed by the stamped number 824 and the word STERLING. Weight: 48 grams.
Condition report:
The cup shows significant surface tarnish and dark oxidation across the entire exterior and interior surfaces (photo 1 and 2). There are numerous fine surface scratches, some heavier scuffs, and small, scattered pin-sized dents consistent with age and regular use (photo 1 and 3). The engraved name Julia is a permanent modification to the piece (photo 1).
