Description
A pair of sterling silver hollowware items by the Manchester Silver Co., comprising a creamer and an open sugar bowl. Both vessels are designed in a traditional colonial revival style with bulbous bodies supported by circular pedestal feet and finished with scroll handles. The underside of the base on each piece is impressed with a mark consisting of a capital letter M enclosed in a diamond-shaped border, positioned above the word STERLING and the pattern number 3265. Weight: 153 grams.
Condition report:
Both the creamer and the sugar bowl exhibit heavy tarnish and oxidation across their interior and exterior surfaces (Photos 1, 2, and 5). Fine surface scratches and minor pitting consistent with regular use are visible throughout the metal (Photos 1 and 2). No major dents or evidence of past repairs were observed.
