Description
Two circular coasters featuring sterling silver rims and glass bases. The larger coaster is designed with a wide, rounded sterling silver rim that includes a fine beaded border along the inner edge. Its clear glass base features a deep, multi-point starburst cut design on the underside. The second, smaller coaster has a narrower sterling silver rim with a similar beaded inner border and a plain glass base. The vertical inner metal wall of this smaller coaster features a series of small, evenly spaced circular perforations. The metal material is identified as sterling silver on a whiteboard shown in the background of the photographs. No maker marks, hallmarks, or other inscriptions are visible or legible on the items.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good vintage condition. The sterling silver rims on both coasters show moderate to heavy tarnish and surface patina (Photos 1 and 2). Fine surface scratches from previous use are visible on the glass inserts (Photo 1). No chips, cracks, or dents are observed in the provided images.
