Description
A two-piece ivory porcelain set by Lenox in the Queen’s Garden pattern, featuring a bud vase and a squat, rounded bowl. Both pieces are decorated with polychrome floral transfers including roses and forget-me-nots, accented by golden foliate scrollwork. The items are finished with 24 karat gold-trimmed rims and a gold-toned geometric trellis border at the base of the vase and the interior rim of the bowl. The underside of each item bears a black transfer factory mark with a stylized capital letter L centered within a laurel wreath, above the text LENOX, QUEEN’S GARDEN, and MADE IN U.S.A.
Condition report:
The set is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing are present. The 24 karat gold gilding and floral transfers show no significant signs of wear or thinning.
