Lot 85:
Description
A round cricket-style table featuring a top and triangular lower shelf constructed from reclaimed wood planks. The wood shows significant natural character including knots, open grain, and aged nail holes. The top consists of three wide boards with a visible gap between two planks. The splayed three-leg base is finished in a dark, muted green paint. The underside of the tabletop is signed in pencil with an illegible cursive script, dated Nov 2002, and marked with a circular monogram containing the letters D, G, and Y.
Diameter: 36 inches
Height: 30 inches.
Condition report:
The table shows an intentionally distressed and aged appearance. The top exhibits heavy grain texture and surface stains. The painted finish is generally well-preserved with minor surface scuffs and wear consistent with age. Structurally sound.
