Description
A single door wood pie safe or accent cabinet designed in the primitive Americana style. Internal contents are not included. The piece features a sage green painted finish with heavy, intentional reddish orange faux distressing throughout. The single door contains two inset punched tin panels, each decorated with a central five pointed star motif within a circular border. The door is secured by a wooden turn button and a simple metal slide hasp, mounted on decorative metal hinges. The interior is divided by one fixed wooden shelf, providing two levels of storage. The cabinet is of one piece construction with a dark stained wood back panel.

Condition report:
The item displays heavy intentional distressing as part of its aesthetic design. Observed condition issues beyond the intentional finish include surface scratches and minor scuffs on the top surface. There is chipping and wear to the wood at the bottom rear corners and along the lower edge of the back panel. The punched tin panels show light surface oxidation consistent with age and use.
