Description
This collection consists of an assortment of vintage medical diagnostic instrument components specifically designed for an otoscope. The primary pieces are constructed from chrome-plated metal and feature glass lenses. One of the main body components is marked with the brand name Arc-lite engraved in cursive script. The lot includes several chrome-plated metal otoscope specula of various sizes and two optical head assemblies equipped with integral finger rings for manipulation. One optical head features a hinged magnifying lens and a small adjustable thumb screw. Also included are two small vintage incandescent bulbs, a white plastic T-shaped connector, and a small cylindrical metal part. These components are presented as a collection of parts and do not constitute a complete or functional diagnostic set.
Condition report:
These items are in used vintage condition. There is visible wear to the chrome plating across most pieces, including surface scratches, pitting, and areas of oxidation consistent with age and medical use. The glass lenses show some light dust but appear to have fair optical clarity. Mechanical hinges and screws on the optical heads remain functional. This is an incomplete assortment of parts and is not in original packaging.
