Description
This lot consists of two decorative folk art figurines from the Heartwood Creek collection by artist Jim Shore. Both items are crafted from cast resin, designed to emulate the appearance of traditional hand-carved and hand-painted wood. The first figurine is a stylized pig titled Country Heritage, standing on a rectangular plinth. The pig features brown spots and a decorative blanket on its back depicting a rural landscape with a farmhouse, trees, and a fence. The base is decorated with a red and off-white geometric patchwork pattern, and the pig has a wire-curl tail. The underside is marked HEARTWOOD CREEK by JIM SHORE, 117142, Country Heritage, copyright 2003 Jim Shore, Licensed by Enesco Group, Inc., MADE IN CHINA. The second figurine is a large decorative pumpkin titled Count Your Blessings, set on a square pedestal base. The pumpkin features a relief-carved autumn harvest scene including a white farmhouse, a red barn, a turkey, a scarecrow, and haystacks. The top is finished with a yellow and orange checkered pattern and a green stem. The base is inscribed with the phrase Count your blessings on all four sides. The underside is marked HEARTWOOD CREEK by JIM SHORE, 118757T, Count Your Blessings, copyright 2004 Jim Shore, Licensed by Enesco Group, Inc., MADE IN CHINA.
Pig: 4.5 inches high, 6.5 inches long
Pumpkin: 9 inches high, 6 inches wide.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Surface wear is minimal, consistent with age and display.
