Description
An assortment of hand tools including screwdrivers, nut drivers, sockets, pliers, adjustable wrenches, and hammers, presented within four drawers of a metal tool chest. The collection features a variety of tools from manufacturers including Craftsman, Challenger, Black & Decker, and Torx. Construction materials consist of forged steel, chrome-plated steel, acetate, hickory wood, and rubber.
The collection includes several screwdrivers and nut drivers with vintage amber acetate handles and modern red and black ergonomic grips. One screwdriver shaft is marked TORX T15 USA and another handle is marked CRAFTSMAN. The socket assortment includes various drive sizes with matching extensions and color-coded nut drivers.
Gripping and turning tools include slip-joint pliers, needle-nose pliers, and tongue-and-groove pliers with blue handles. Multiple adjustable wrenches are present, including a large wrench marked 4012-CHALLENGER and a modern version marked BLACK & DECKER. A circular feeler gauge is also included. The striking tool group features ball-peen and cross-peen hammers with wooden handles, one of which is stamped GENUINE HICKORY, alongside a rubber mallet, steel punches, and chisels.
Condition report:
The tools are in fair to good used condition. All items show signs of wear consistent with shop use, including surface oxidation, pitting, and scuffing on handles. Significant surface rust is present on the pipe wrench, file, and several pairs of pliers. Hammer heads show varying degrees of mushrooming and impact marks. Completeness of any socket or driver sets is not guaranteed.
