Description
This cast stone garden fountain is manufactured by Studio One of Summit, New Jersey. The piece features a whimsical figure of a young boy in contemporary attire, including a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. The boy is depicted holding an ice cream cone while leaning against a large fluted basin. The mouth of the figure is open to function as a water spout. The basin rests atop a fluted column pedestal that flares into a circular base. A central water jet and internal plumbing are present. The exterior surface has a variegated verdigris and bronze-toned painted finish. An incised mark on the base reads Studio One, Summit, N.J. along with additional worn characters.

Height to basin rim: 25.5 inches.
Condition report:
The item is in weathered condition with notable damage. There is a significant jagged hole and loss of material at the circular base. The painted finish exhibits extensive flaking, oxidation, and wear throughout. The internal plumbing shows signs of corrosion and is untested for functionality. The basin contains dirt and organic debris consistent with outdoor use.
