Description
A V-Wider brand pintail hen duck decoy produced by Risser and Bohn of Valley City, North Dakota. The decoy is constructed with a coarse-grain cork body, a carved wooden head, and a bottom-mounted wooden keel. The painted surface features a mottled tan and brown color scheme on the body, accented by V-shaped feather patterns on the back and a white tail. The keel is incised with a duck logo and the manufacturer information: V-WIDER BY RISSER AND BOHN VALLEY CITY, ND.

Condition report:
The cork body exhibits age-related surface pitting and minor material losses, primarily along the lower edges. The painted wooden head and tail show scattered scuffs and minor paint loss, particularly around the neck joint.
