A rectangular wall-hanging mirror featuring a multi-layered deep-well frame. The outer structure is composed of a wide mahogany-toned wooden molding with a polished finish. Inset within this is a secondary decorative band of burl wood veneer, characterized by a complex grain pattern. This section is further embellished with light-colored wood inlays depicting foliate or wheat motifs at each corner and the midpoint of each side. The innermost slip consists of a gilded or silvered beveled section featuring tight vertical fluting. A rectangular glass mirror plate is recessed within the decorative frame. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the forward-facing surfaces of the object.

Width: 16.75 inches.

Condition report:

The wooden frame exhibits minor surface wear including light scratches and small dings consistent with age and use (photo 1). There is a slight separation visible at the mitered corners of the outer molding (photo 1). The mirror plate shows moderate to significant foxing, with several distinct dark spots from silvering loss visible in the central and upper-right areas of the glass (photo 1).
