Description
A Couristan Kashimar collection power-loomed wool rug featuring a traditional Persian-inspired design. The rug is constructed with a 100% wool pile and displays a complex central floral medallion on a rich red field, surrounded by scrolling vines and palmettes. The composition is framed by corner spandrels and a multi-tiered border system with repeating floral motifs. The rug is finished with a machine-sewn cream-colored fringe at each end. A partially torn rectangular paper label is adhered to the reverse, featuring printed text that reads COURISTAN’S, CUSTOM CRAFTED CARPET, KASHIMAR, IMPORTED, oriental design, and Wool. It’s got life. A series of clear circular adhesive pads are attached along the underside edges.

Condition report:
The rug appears in good overall condition with an even pile throughout (photo 1). The cream-colored fringe is intact at both ends, exhibiting minor tangling consistent with typical use (photo 2). The manufacturer\'s label on the reverse is partially torn with some text loss (photo 2). Several clear adhesive pads are adhered to the backing along the edges (photo 2). No major staining, odors, or visible repairs are noted.
