Description
This contemporary swivel barrel armchair features a transitional design with traditional accents. The chair is fully upholstered in a heavy-weave herringbone patterned fabric in neutral tones of tan, grey, and off-white. The curved backrest is detailed with deep diamond tufting, and the lower front panel is decorated with three horizontal tufted buttons. A continuous line of bronze-finished nailhead trim runs along the outer edge of the back and arms and around the perimeter of the base. It features a loose, boxed seat cushion. The chair is mounted on a concealed circular metal swivel base that provides rotation. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible in the provided images.
Condition report:
The chair is in very good condition with no visible staining, fraying, or wear to the upholstery fabric across all views (photos 1, 2, 3, and 4). The tufting is secure, and the nailhead trim is complete and intact. The frame and swivel mechanism appear structurally sound from a visual inspection.
