Description
A Federal style mahogany demilune console table featuring a semi-circular top with cross-banded veneer borders and light wood stringing. The table stands on four square tapered legs ending in spade feet. The legs are decorated with inlaid bellflower husks and vertical stringing, set beneath decorative panels on the apron. The apron itself is curved with an inlaid central border. The underside of the table top and the back apron rail feature handwritten inscriptions. A faint inscription on the underside of the top reads G. Earl followed by an illegible word, over 512 Jefferson. A white chalk or crayon inscription on the rail reads G. Earl Smith over c 124 Jefferson House. The top is secured to the frame with oxidized metal brackets.

Condition report:
The table exhibits surface scratches and faint ring marks to the top finish as seen in photo 1. The legs show scattered minor scuffs and small dings near the feet in photos 1 and 2. The underside metal brackets show surface oxidation in photo 3.
