Description
A set of six dining side chairs featuring a Neoclassical design. The chairs are constructed of wood with a cream-colored painted finish. Each chair has a high, open back featuring a central shield-shaped splat. The padded seats are covered in a navy blue fabric with a floral damask pattern. The chairs are supported by square tapered legs in the front and slightly flared legs in the back, joined by an H-stretcher. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible in the provided image.
Condition report:
The chairs exhibit signs of light to moderate residential use. Small chips and scuffs to the painted finish are visible on the splats and legs (photo 1). The upholstery appears intact with no visible tears or stains. The joinery appears to be structurally sound from a visual inspection.
