Description
A five-tier utility shelving unit constructed from gray-painted steel with a slotted-angle frame and rear X-bracing. The shelving contains an assortment of kitchen items, including multiple rectangular metal baking sheets, wire cooling racks, a white wire plate organizer, and a large octagonal decorative tray featuring a painted floral motif on a dark green ground. Also included is an extensive collection of vinyl records, featuring approximately 30 LP albums and numerous 7-inch 45 RPM singles. The collection emphasizes classic film soundtracks and pop vocalists. Notable LP titles with readable labels include the Lawrence of Arabia original soundtrack recording on Colpix Records SCP 514, the Grease motion picture soundtrack on RSO Records, and Chariots of Fire by Vangelis. The group includes several albums by Paul Williams, Jackie Gleason on Capitol Records, and Bobby Hackett on Columbia records, including Night Love (CS 8095). Other identified titles include The Shirelles Greatest Hits on Scepter Records 507, Donovan’s Greatest Hits on Epic, and albums by John Fogerty, Peter, Paul and Mary, Janis Ian, Simon and Garfunkel, and Paul Simon. The 45 RPM singles include titles by Duran Duran (The Wild Boys), Chaka Khan (I Feel For You), New Edition (Cool It Now), John Waite (Missing You), and Don Henley. Some albums are protected in clear plastic outer sleeves. A yellow plastic 45 RPM record adapter is also included.
Condition report:
The shelving unit is in fair, used condition with surface dust and minor wear consistent with storage (photo 1). The record collection shows varying degrees of shelf wear, including visible ring wear, edge scuffing, and creasing to the paper covers (photos 3 through 8). The 45 RPM singles are in mixed condition; some are housed in original or generic paper sleeves, while others are loose and exhibit surface wear. The vinyl records have not been individually tested for playback quality.
