Description
A Pulsar quartz wristwatch featuring a round silver-tone metal case and a white dial. The dial displays black Arabic numerals, a black minute track, a date aperture at three o’clock, and a stylized square logo above the brand name Pulsar below the twelve o’clock position. The word Quartz is printed above the six o’clock position. The bottom edge of the dial bears the marks V401-800M R 1 MOV’T JAPAN DIAL TAIWAN. The timepiece is mounted on a stainless steel expansion band featuring two flared silver-tone decorative panels which may be sterling but are untested so not guaranteed to be sterling. Each panel is decorated with a stamped border of repeating crescent shapes and three rectangular turquoise stones inlaid in a vertical row. The stones exhibit natural brown and black matrixing. No hallmarks are visible on the decorative panels or the expansion band.
Case size: approximately 35mm.
Condition report:
Visible scratches are present on the crystal and case (photo 2). The silver-tone finish on the lugs shows rubbing and surface wear (photo 1). The decorative band panels show heavy tarnish and oxidation (photo 3). The turquoise stones show natural matrix and surface accumulation (photo 5). The watch has not been tested for working order.
