Description
This collection consists of several glazed ceramic planters of varying forms and decorative styles, united by a cobalt blue and white color palette. The group includes a tall tapered cylindrical planters with a molded raised diamond lattice exterior in a deep blue glaze and a cream-colored interior. A rectangular planter in a matching cobalt blue glaze features rounded corners and sits on a matching low-profile drip tray. One square planter in a dark blue glaze is characterized by pierced quatrefoil or clover-shaped cutouts on each side panel and is accompanied by its own square drip tray. A white ceramic oval planter is decorated with blue transfer-printed floral and scrollwork designs around the exterior. The set also features a small footed hexagonal planter in white ceramic with blue transfer-printed mountain landscape scenes on each facet. Completing the collection is a novelty teacup-shaped planter with a single handle, decorated in blue and white geometric and floral scroll patterns, paired with a matching oversized saucer. No maker marks, signatures, or factory backstamps are visible on the exterior or interior of any of the pieces shown.
The tall blue diamond lattice vase measures 8.75 inches in height.
Condition report:
The ceramics appear to be in good condition overall. There are no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs across the collection. Minor soil residue is present on the interior of the rectangular and oval planters (photo 1 and 2), consistent with previous use for live plants. The glazes remain bright with no significant surface wear or crazing observed.
